This is a great opportunity to join a brand-new team based within Stoke-on-Trent Councils Adult Social Care and All Age Commissioning Directorate, as a Quality and Compliance Officer (Permanent Post Indicative Grade 9) to support the senior management team to deliver against their plans for continuous improvement and compliance with the highest quality standards.
If you understand the use of effective communications tools, are a good communicator, with project management skills and passionate about making a difference through effective engagement and co-production, to bring about improvements in services, then we want to hear from you.
The Quality and Compliance Team will lead, support, advise, guide and direct the Adult Social Care and All Age Commissioning Directorate in effective compliance processes and administration, to include ensuring all relevant documentation is updated and maintained between inspections/peer reviews; all logistical arrangements are managed; and strategic data and liquid logic management is alignment with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards. Ensuring services meet the highest quality benchmarks and the local authority fulfils its legal and regulatory requirements and the authority’s own objectives.
This will require leadership and support of robust strategic planning, governance, policy implementation, use of project management skills, including needs analysis, research and strategic policy and procedure review and maintenance, engagement and developing strategic planning documents.
