Are you looking for an opportunity to work within a professional and supportive service for children and young people with learning disabilities in Stoke-on-Trent? Are you committed to helping children enjoy their overnight respite care experience by providing tasty, healthy and nutritious meals?
You would be part of, and work closely with, a larger team of care staff. You would be responsible for delivering the highest standards of meal preparation for the children who access the service, and this includes specific dietary requirements for individual children in order to keep them healthy and safe.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all our employees and volunteers to share this commitment. This position is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful applicant will be subject to a criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
