An opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join our experienced and highly motivated legal team.
The team provides a comprehensive service to the Authority ranging from litigation & property to Child and Adult Social Care.
We want to recruit a high calibre , experienced and qualified solicitor or Barrister with relevant employment law experience to provide advice and to deal with a wide range of employment issues. You must be capable of conducting litigation and whereappropriate undertake advocacy.
Counsel are usually instructed in complex situations.
You will work closely with the HR department and will have support from your manager as well as other lawyers within the legal team.
We offer a generous leave package of 28 days (plus Bank Holidays) which rises to 33 days (plus Bank Holidays) after 5 years of service.
In addition to this you have the opportunity of purchasing additional leave if required. You will also be automatically enrolled into our Local Government pension scheme and will be able to enjoy the benefits of Hybrid working.
