The Transport Operations Team is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our unique and dynamic team of highly motivated professionals to provide safe and efficient transport for vulnerable users accessing educational establishments and other facilities.

 

The department plays an integral part of the Council’s Licensing Services ensuring essential services are provided to its vulnerable citizens including providing home to school transport.

 

We are seeking an individual who can carry out safeguard checks on all individuals used to transport vulnerable clients through the Council’s framework, investigate and report any safeguarding concerns and incidents and coordinate training.

 

There will be occasions where site visits are required in order to assist in carrying out compliancy checks. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of transport policies and procedures, an understanding and knowledge of safeguarding principles, experience of interviewing people and a desire to make a positive difference to vulnerable people.
