This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our Senior Management Team within Children and Family Services and to play a crucial role in Stoke-on-Trent’s improvement journey.

We are seeking a Strategic Manager to lead on the below four areas in Stoke-on-Trent in Children’s Social Care.

 

    • Assessment & Duty
    • Children's Safeguarding & Support (North and Central)
    • Corporate Parenting/Children in Care 14+
    • Fostering & Adoption

 

You will be the Strategic Lead on statutory duties within your area of responsibility and will ensure that we deliver consistently high-quality services within allocated budgets. You will establish a culture of excellence that puts learning at its heart and drives continuous improvement.

 

If you are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children in Stoke-on-Trent and can help us to drive forward these exciting changes to benefit the most vulnerable children and young people in the city, we want to hear from you!

 

Key requirements of this position include:

 

    • Degree or equivalent in social work
    • Current Social Work England registration
    • Significant Senior Management experience within children’s social care and a track record of improving services and outcomes for children, young people and their families
