Grade:  Level 8

Hours:  37 or 18.5 hours per week on a rota basis which includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays.  You will also be required to sleep in when required and rostered to do so.

Children who access our service have a range of learning disabilities and complex needs. You would be part of a highly motivated and highly skilled group of care staff who are committed to effective team working in order to achieve excellent outcomes for children. There is a degree of support with personal care involved in the role.

 

As part of the role you will have the opportunity to deliver some outreach work for children with disabilities in the community as well as providing residential care worker support to children who access respite in the evenings.

 

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all our employees and volunteers to share this commitment.  This position is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful applicant will be subject to a criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
