Stoke-on-Trent City Council Children’s Commissioning team are looking for a senior commissioning and contract officer x 2 to join their children’s commissioning team.
To develop commissioning and contract standards and frameworks, manage and implement a range of commissioning strategies, policies and plans on specific service areas to ensure best commissioning practice is applied across the category.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
To lead the development of team practice to manage and implement a range of commissioning strategies, policies and plans on specific service areas to ensure best commissioning practice, behaviours and competencies are applied and deliver the agreed outcomes and targets across the full commissioning cycle:
- Robust needs assessment
– Systemic coproduced service review and redesign
- Benefits realisation, business cases, performance management and evaluation
- Commercialisation and routes to market, including procurement
- Contract/SLA specification and management
- Service/Provider stability and improvement
