Grade: Casual Level 8 with a salary of £16.26 per hour.

 

This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants.

 

This post is casual, work in the casual pool is not guaranteed.  We are under no obligation to provide work, likewise, you will be under no obligation to take up the offer of work.  Hours offered will be as and when needed.

We're recruiting casual tutors in various subjects.

 

The service is looking for tutors who share our passion to help adults thrive academically, socially and emotionally - by encouraging them to be confident and resilient.

 

We want you:

 

-To want to Improve education and skill levels for residents of all ages across Stoke on Trent

 

-To deliver a range of courses for adults (post 16), to improve participation, retention and qualification success rates.

 

-To plan, prepare and teach a full programme of structured learning that meets the needs and learning preferences of entry level to level 2 Learners.

 

-Have good organisational skills and be able to motivate groups of learners to achieve their programme outcomes

 

-To provide support, information and advice and guidance to all learners in relation to their learning programme, personal and social development and employability development.

 

-To deliver and teach individual learning and one to one support to enable learners to achieve at their own level within the standard required.

 

-To contribute to the successful delivery and outcomes of all externally funded programmes

 

-To work flexibly across the city in a range of community venues
