Stoke-on-Trent Safeguarding Children Partnership are looking to recruit
a Learning and Development Officer to our Business Unit.
We are committed to safeguarding all children and everybody that comes
into contact with our children has a role to play in keeping them safe.
As a partnership we are committed to provide multi-agency safeguarding
training and development opportunities for professionals working with children
and families across Stoke-on-Trent.
In the role you would:
- be responsible for the planning, delivery and evaluation of multi-agency safeguarding children training for the Safeguarding Children Partnership.
- communicate the work of the partnership, including the learning from local and national reviews, widely through our website, newsletters and the linked social media platforms.
- support our communication plan in raising awareness of key emerging themes.
- engage the participation of children, young people, families and practitioners across the city.
You should have detailed understanding of multi-agency working in a
safeguarding capacity plus training and workforce development experience. You will have excellent presentation and
communication skills, be flexible and comfortable in working with a range of
professionals in an exciting dynamic environment.

You may be required to travel to venues within the city to either
coordinate or deliver training.
