Hours: 37 hours per week
This advert is open to Internal applicants only.
In this exciting new leadership role you will be responsible
for delivering the Children's Participation Strategy 2021 - 2024 reporting
directly to the Children and Young People's Strategic Partnership Board.
You will be experienced in working collaboratively with a
range of stakeholders at a senior level. You will plan, design and implement a
citywide Youth Council drawing on membership and representatives from a
range of existing forums. You will work collaboratively with
partners to develop and implement a range of engagement and participation
opportunities that are inclusive for children of all ages and all
abilities. You will be responsible for supporting and encouraging
third sector organisations to recognise their contribution to supporting young
people and improving outcomes for vulnerable groups and to ensure that services
are delivered and recorded in a consistent way to agreed standards. Taking the
lead on participation you will encourage a culture across our partnership of
consulting and collaborating with children and young people.
