Hours: 37 hours per week
An exciting
opportunity has arisen, to join Children and Family Services (CAFS), supporting
the directorate’s readiness for regulatory inspections and supporting a number
of strategic partnerships and boards.
As Senior
Partnership and Planning Officer, you will require a knowledge and
understanding of complex governance arrangements and be responsible for:
- Preparations and operational management of inspections and other external assurance processes; liaising closely with senior officers to ensure that all aspects of the process are understood and are ready to showcase our services.
- Co-ordinating the Children, Young People and Families’ Strategic Partnership, providing advice and support to the Chair, board members and the wider partnership to drive forward improved outcomes through the Room to Grow strategy 2020-2024.
- The effective delivery of the Children’s Improvement Board, a multi-agency board responsible for over-seeing the improvement journey and supporting plan, as well as other key meetings.
- Delivery of the CAF staff engagement programme and managing engagement with children and young people through the annual local democracy week events and Takeover Challenge.
- Co-ordination of the review process of self-evaluation.

role you will need to be creative, flexible and be able to effectively manage
your work in order to meet competing priorities.
