Directorate: Children & Family Services 

Section: Safeguarding and Quality Assurance

Grade: Level 15 

Hours: 37 hours per week

 

You will have responsibility for coordinating and developing the work of the Partnership and its associated groups, have a substantial role in ensuring that the Partnership meets national and local requirements and support the Partnership to embed its statutory footing. You will have overall responsibility for the Business Unit including the training officer so experience of managing staff is essential. You will be employed by Stoke on Trent City Council, which is hosting the Business Unit on behalf of the Partnership.

 

You will be expected to liaise closely with the Independent Chair/ scrutineer, associated group Chairs and the Chairs of other Partnership Groups across the city so experience of working at a senior level is necessary.

 

You will be a highly motivated and capable person who will have a key role in developing and implementing the forward work plan for the Partnership, writing and presenting reports and analysing  information which will make a difference to the safety and well-being of children at risk across SOT.
