We have an exciting
team manager post within our FaST team. The team has recently changed its remit
to add working to reunify children home to the existing success of the edge of
care work.
We believe that
children are best supported to live within their families and so we are looking
for a team manager who shares this core principle and is willing to work in a
flexible manner to ensure that children are able to live safely in their family.
The desired candidate will be able to remain calm dealing with crisis
situations and will be able to manage risk to ensure that children remain safe
whilst we deliver intensive interventions to the child and their family.
In addition the Team
Manager will work closely with partners and our commissioned psychologists to
ensure that plans for reunification are robust and in the child's best
interests. The successful candidate will join an experienced and stable staff
team who continue to deliver exceptional outcomes to our children and families.
We are committed to
safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable
adults and we expect all our employees and volunteers to share this
commitment. This position is exempt
under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful applicant
will be subject to a criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring
Service (DBS).
Please note that if an
employee who is currently at risk of redundancy within the organisation applies
