Description
An experienced social work practitioner is required to take on the role of Team Manager in a Children's safeguarding team servicing the South East of the city. You will be responsible for the day to day management of a team comprising of 6 social workers providing services to children from assessment through to Court proceedings to final order. Stoke on Trent have adopted a restorative approach undermined by systemic understanding of children's needs. We are on an improvement journey and you will be provided with peer support, supervision and an extensive training programme to support your development as a team manager and leader in respect of children's welfare.
