Description
This post is casual, work in the casual pool is not guaranteed. We are under no obligation to provide work, likewise, you will be under no obligation to take up the offer of work. Hours offered will be as and when needed.
We are seeking to recruit a pool of casual workers to provide cover for staff
sickness and holidays within our Small Group Homes for young people who present
social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
You must be able to demonstrate compassion and empathy in your approach to
caring for young people, either through previous roles in social care or in
other roles, having the ability to manage challenging behaviour, as well as
supporting young people to take part in a wide range of activities, attend
education and engage well within the community in which they reside.
You will need to be flexible to cover a rota and this will include unsociable
hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
