An exciting opportunity has arisen within the HR - Workforce team for an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer. The post would be for a 2 year fixed term period.
The role will be to provide support in driving the equality, diversity and inclusion agenda across the city council, ensuring statutory obligations are met and that equality, diversity and inclusion is integrated across all aspects of organisational life and service delivery. The post will work with the One Stoke Board, playing a key part in community engagement across Stoke-on-Trent helping to strengthen communities and making it a great place to live.
We are seeking an outstanding individual with a passion for making changes related to equality, diversity and inclusion. You will have an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and the ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of colleagues, partners across our community and others.
