We are seeking experienced and visionary Children and Families Social Workers to join our dynamic Corporate Parenting 0-13 team. If you are passionate about making a lasting impact on the lives of children in care and are driven to lead by example, we want to hear from you.

 

Key Responsibilities:

This is an exciting opportunitiy to join Stoke on Trent Children Service's, Corporate Parenting 0 - 13 Team. It is a statutory Social Work role where you will be supporting Looked After Children to secure permanency. You will be working in a supportive environment within a team setting. This role will give you the opportunity to work in a hybrid way with a mixture of home working and office working. There are excellent opportunities to develop your own learning and skills through the support of the outstanding Learning and Development Academy, with support from an experianced management team.

For these roles you must

 

  • Be a qualified Social Worker with significant experience 
  • You will have expansive knowledge of relevant childcare legislation, including a clear understanding of ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children’.
  •  An ability to build effective relationships with children, young people, and families.
