Position:                       Teaching Assistant  

Start Date:                    TBC

Contract Type:              Permanent

Hours:                          32.50 Hours per week, 6.5 hours Monday- Friday Term time only plus 6 Inset days  

Pay:                              G3 SCP4: £25185 FTE, (£13.05 per hour) Pro Rata gross salary £21,870 per annum

Allowance:                   n/a  

Location:                      Westwood College; however, you may be required to support and work with colleagues at other schools across the Trust

Thank you for your interest in the post of Teaching Assistant at the Talentum Learning Trust. We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and inspiring individual to join our strong and committed team here at Westwood College. Key Responsibilities include:

·        Provide structured support in accordance with specific work programmes that are designed and supervised by individual teachers

·        Support the teacher in the development and implementation of Individual education/behaviour plans

·        Assist in maintaining classroom discipline through the implementation the school’s behaviour management strategies

·        Provide support to pupils to achieve learning goals

·        Assist the teacher with the planning of learning activities

·        Provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on pupil’s achievement, progress, problems etc

·        Undertake appropriate admin tasks.

 

Through this role and by supporting all areas of the school, you will enable us to deliver the best education possible to our students.  We expect our staff to be highly motivated, determined and caring.
