KS1 Teaching Assistant
32.5 hrs per week term time only
Required from: 17th November or as close to this date as possible
Grade: Level 4 pt 4-7

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to support our enthusiastic and curious learners. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide individualised support, and help create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivering lessons that cater to the diverse needs of pupils.
- Support pupils with their learning activities, ensuring they understand and complete tasks.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to pupils who need extra help.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to monitor and assess pupil progress.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment where every pupil feels valued.
Qualifications:
- A recognised level 3 qualification (or higher) in childcare.
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- A genuine passion for education and helping children succeed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- . Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Basic knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
