SITE TECHNICIAN
PERMANENT

Full Time – 37 hours per week on a rota basis
Grade 3 - £24,796 (full year)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated person, to support
the effective operation of the school. You will be working under the direction of the Sites and
Building Supervisor. This post will also be whole year and to start as soon as possible.

About You
You will play a key role in maintaining our site and ensuring a welcoming and safe environment
for the whole school community. You will be hard working, enthusiastic and flexible with high
standards and a ‘can do’ attitude. You will be able to work within a team, act on your own
initiative and deal with any unexpected problems that arise.

You will possess the necessary skills to carry out non-specialist building maintenance work e.g.
plumbing, carpentry, decorating etc., where such work is agreed as being within the reasonable
capacity of normal handyperson/DIY Skills with strict adherence to Health and Safety
regulations.

Duties will include following a regular routine of checking the proper operation and function of
alarms and fire equipment; following the water flushing routine; liaising with contractors
carrying out maintenance checks and services; general maintenance and cleaning and general
portage and collection activities as required.
