Are you ready to take the helm in one of the most strategically vital roles in adult social care?

 

We’re seeking a bold, insightful, and emotionally resilient Adult Safeguarding Team Manager to lead our safeguarding service across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.

 

This is your opportunity to influence lives, lead innovation, and ensure our most vulnerable citizens are supported with dignity and respect.

 

Lead and manage a high-performing team delivering statutory safeguarding duties under the Care Act 2014, including Section 42 enquiries.

 

Champion public protection through active involvement in MAPPA, Channel Panel, and multi-agency safeguarding arrangements.

 

Work closely with the Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire Safeguarding Adults Board, contributing to strategic planning, audits, and learning reviews.

 

Interpret and present safeguarding data using Power BI and other tools to inform decision-making and service improvement.

 

Navigate complex safeguarding cases with emotional resilience, clarity, and compassion.

 

You will be a qualified social work background with proven leadership in adult safeguarding.

 

In-depth knowledge of safeguarding legislation, including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and associated statutory guidance.

 

Experience working within multi-agency frameworks including MAPPA and Prevent (Channel).

 

Strong analytical skills and confidence in interpreting data to drive performance and quality.

 

Emotional resilience and the ability to lead through complexity, challenge, and change.
