This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants.

 

The SENMAS Team are looking to appoint a dynamic and resourceful Tribunals Officer to ensure compliance within the SEND tribunal and mediation processes whilst they strive to improve SEN Education Health and Care Plans across the city.

 

The ability to manage your own time and complete work to strict deadlines is vital, as is the ability to ensure good working relationships with other agencies, schools, parents and young people.

 

The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the Code of Practice and current relevant caselaw with experience of working in SEND and representing Local Authorities within mediation and tribunal processes.

 

A good working knowledge of IT systems and the ability to work within a busy, enthusiastic team is desirable.
