This advert is open to Internal applicants.

 

Our Civil Enforcement Officers are the eyes and ears of the local community, patrolling across Staffordshire, including Tamworth, East Staffordshire and South Staffordshire.

 

As the Parking Enforcement Lead Officer (South) you will be responsible for the management of the Civil Enforcement team and the contracts we have with our County partner authorities.

 

Based at our depot in Lichfield you will ensure staff fulfil the contractual requirements of each partner authority while following Stoke on Trent City Council’s policies and corporate strategy and values.

 

Your team will play a vital role in reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality across Staffordshire by improving compliance with parking regulations for the safety of the community.

 

You will ensure effective deployment of officers to priority areas and liaise directly with members of Parliament, elected members, officers from Stoke on Trent and partner authorities and members of the public.

 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential in leading a front line service.
