Do you have the potential to inspire, engage, motivate and support students to raise attainment in Maths?

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join the team at Thomas Alleyne’s High School as a Teacher of Maths. This role is available on a 0.8 FTE basis.

The successful candidate will be a passionate and committed Maths specialist, capable of inspiring students across

Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality classroom teaching and securing excellent outcomes in GCSE Maths, with the potential to teach A-Level Maths, helping them to achieve their full potential.

We are looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic about Maths education and committed to enriching the broader life of the school. The successful candidate will lead and contribute to an extra-curricular school trips and maths competitions. They will bring high expectations, a collaborative approach, and a determination to raise achievement in Maths through outstanding teaching and learning.

 

The Ideal Candidate will:

• Have a degree in Maths and Qualified Teacher Status
• Be able to teach Maths at KS3, KS4 and KS5
• Be passionate about delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire students.
• Use innovative teaching strategies to support all learners, including those with SEND.
• Have strong classroom management skills and foster a positive learning environment.
• Be eager to contribute to extra-curricular Maths activities such as clubs and trips.
• Be committed to continuous professional development and working collaboratively.
