About the team:
This is an exciting time to join the team as we transform the way we deliver HR services across the council. Our Workforce Service is seeking a Workforce Analyst to support the drive for an evidenced-based approach to practice and a move to support strategic workforce planning across the council.
About the role:
You will play a vital role in supporting data-driven decision making by providing valuable insights to the Workforce function.
Your primary function will be collecting, analysing and interpreting HR data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improving HR processes and initiatives.
You will have
•Experience in a HR data analyst or similar role, with expertise in HR data analysis
• In depth knowledge of HR processes, metrics and KPIs
• Experience of using data visualisation tools, such as Power BI
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling and analysing HR data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of communicating with people at all levels
• A proven ability to work on your own initiative, managing and prioritising workload in order to meet deadlines
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Confidence and skill when presenting information to different audiences.
