St Peter’s Catholic Academy

 

The Principal and Governors at St Peter’s Catholic Academy (rated ‘Outstanding’ in all areas with ‘exemplary’ behaviour, Ofsted October 2024) are looking to appoint a passionate and motivated Teacher to work amongst our school’s enthusiastic and committed staff team. The successful candidate will support their colleagues to create an effective, safe and purposeful learning environment, supporting children in the classroom and through interventions to reach their full potential.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a ‘can do’ attitude, with a passionate dedication to improving the lives of our children through education.
  • Be committed to promoting and further enhancing the Catholic ethos of our school.
  • Have experience working with children, showing a caring and nurturing approach.
  • Be able to work effectively with colleagues and have good interpersonal skills.
  • Have desire and commitment to build upon the school’s outstanding strengths.
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner who can demonstrate a thorough and up to date knowledge of teaching and learning.
  • Have the ability to plan an exciting and challenging curriculum that meets pupils’ individual learning needs.
  • Be professional in their approach.
  • Be committed to the wider responsibilities of being a teacher.
