ASSISTANT HEADTEACHER– REGINALD MITCHELL PRIMARY SCHOOL

 Salary: L 4-7 (£53,602- £57,831) (Subject to Teachers Pay and Conditions)

Required for September 2025

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious leader to join the leadership team at our successful and thriving school. The Governors are seeking to appoint for Easter 2025, an experienced, highly motivated and innovative leader to add capacity and energy to our leadership team. In return, Reginald Mitchell Primary can offer a range of CPD and development opportunities as part of our membership of the Children First Learning Partnership Trust.

We are looking for an Assistant Head who:

·        Is an outstanding teacher who leads by example with experience across the primary phase, delivering an enriched and high quality curriculum offer

·        Is a forward thinking practitioner with a key interest in innovation and research to drive teaching and learning forward for all pupils including SEND

·        Have proven skills to monitor, evaluate and report on standards of attainment, teaching and learning and data analysis

·        Has an ambitious drive and high expectations of achievement for all pupils and has the motivation, organisation with the inter-personal skills to inspire this in others

·        Has the ability to manage change and shape future school improvement

·        Is committed to working collaboratively with staff, parents/carers, governors and the local community.
