This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants.

 

This is a fixed term post for 2 years.

 

Stoke-on Trent Council places a high priority on equalities, diversity and inclusion and is looking for an experienced and innovative professional to lead and shape our approach.

 

Working with colleagues and partners, this post will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our equality, diversity and inclusion strategy and action plan.

 

The post will work with the One Stoke Board, playing a key part in community engagement across Stoke-on-Trent helping to strengthen communities and making it a great place to live.

 

Coordinating and managing projects you will make the Council a more inclusive employer and improve our engagement with residents, community groups and embed equalities in all aspects of our work.

 

Therefore, we are seeking an outstanding individual with a passion for making changes related to equality, diversity and inclusion.

 

You will have an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and the ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of colleagues, partners across our community and others.
