Are you a dynamic Strategic Property Officer or Project Manager looking for your next challenge? Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking enthusiastic Project Managers (Strategic Property).
It’s an exciting place to work as we support the development of the six towns and celebrate a momentous milestone next year - our centenary of city status granted by King George V.
As a member of the Strategic Property Team you will play a crucial role within the Corporate Property Estates Team in shaping and delivering our future operational estate and Cityscape.
You will be a key part of a team providing strategic planning, oversight and transformational change across the City Councils general fund estate across a broad range of properties including: offices; industrial; retail; housing; land, and leisure.
You will work closely with colleagues within Corporate Property, other Council services and tenants to build an in-depth knowledge of the City Councils Asset Management Plan, Land and Property estate, City Council priorities and service needs.
You will liaise with the wider voluntary and public sectors to develop ambitious and deliverable property strategies.
Expertise in developing and delivering property strategies and transformation would be desirable.
About You:
An experienced property officer, preferably with Local Authority experience and a property qualification (or working towards one). Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
