This advert is open to Internal and External applicants.
The main purpose of this role is:
- To ensure that Unitas meets its legal responsibilities with regard to fire prevention and fire precautions; and to provide a comprehensive fire safety advisory service for Unitas.
- To prepare clear specifications of works for use by contractors/specialist subcontractors and oversee works to completion.
- To undertake fire door and fire stopping inspections covering statutory inspection regime and best practice monitoring.
- To supervise and approve installations including fire doors, fire-stopping and other items as required to agreed standards – including being a registered installer with BMTrada, FIRAS or equivalent schemes.
