This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants.

 

This is a fixed term post for 2 years.

 

We are looking for an experienced officer, who has a background in inward investment, business growth and digital marketing.

 

This new role will manage and deliver a number of different programmes and areas of activity within the Economic Development Service.

 

The main responsibilities of the role being:

 

- Project management, monitoring and delivery of one of the city councils UK Shared Prosperity Programmes, relating to investment, employment and growth.

 

This will also include providing regular reports to the Funding Programme Manager.

 

- Working with the Economic Development Manager on the development of the annual inward investment plan, aligned to broader council lead strategies.

 

Creation of the annual investment prospectus and value propositions to attract investment into the city.

 

-Management of the Invest Stoke-on-Trent website and its content, developing and executing digital marketing collateral relating to investment opportunities, creating social media campaigns and news content to support the city investment plans and to promote local business.

 

- Delivering roles and activities for the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Growth Hub, within Stoke-on-Trent.

 

The post holder will be required to provide regular reports to the Growth Hub Manager and to attend weekly meetings and to support Growth Hub events and activities.
