Permanent Full Time Class Teacher, required from 1st September 2024
Pay Scale: M1 – M6
The Governors of Gladstone Primary Academy are seeking to appoint highly motivated, enthusiastic classroom practitioner to join our dedicated, skilled team and contribute fully to the life of our happy school. Applications from Early Careers Teachers and experienced Teachers are warmly welcome. Similarly, applications are welcome from candidates with experience in any primary school Key Stage.
We have fantastic facilities in our impressive ‘state of the arts building and grounds’. Gladstone is a 2-form entry school and we currently have 470 pupils on roll. Our exciting grounds offer a vibrant outdoor learning environment. We were awarded the Whole School National Nurture Award in July 2019 and have our own KS1 and KS2 Nurture provisions. Ofsted graded us as a GOOD school in May 2022.

The successful candidate will be someone who:
- is an outstanding classroom practitioner who can motivate pupils of all aptitudes and abilities
- has experience teaching the Primary or EYFS curriculum
• is a well organised classroom practitioner who will strive to ensure every child reaches their full potential
• is enthusiastic about planning and delivering an exciting, creative and fun curriculum
• has excellent communication skills and is able to contribute to and work collaboratively as part of a team
• are able to contribute to the development of extra-curricular opportunities and make a positive contribution to all aspects of school life
• Has a good sense of humour
