This is temporary for 24 months.
It is an exciting time for Stoke on Trent City Council, as we have been awarded £31m to deliver our Bus Service Improvement Plan.
We are looking to recruit a project manager to deliver the revenue projects within that plan.
Do you have extensive knowledge and experience of working in partnership with external stakeholders, including the bus companies operating around the area ofStoke on Trent.
Are you able to review service timetables and propose opportunities to improve those services and then produce tender details and work with colleagues to carry out the procurement?
Can you analyse data to show how passengers are making use of the affordable fares in operation, can you look at opportunities to increase passenger numbers on the network and provide an improved service for people to access employment and key locations such as hospitals.
We are looking to recruit someone with negotiation experience, good communication skills, financial monitoring and reporting experience for a period of 24 months, to deliver projects funded by the external grant, this post would be ideal for someone looking for a secondment opportunity, with agreement from their manager.
You will be part of a team working toward meeting targets set to increase passenger numbers, improve reliability and punctuality of bus services and improve customer satisfaction.
