The Housing Officer post is a vital role undertaking the tenancy management of a patch of dwellings.

 

The role ensures that tenants keep to their Tenancy Agreements, including payment of rent and recovery of rent arrears as well as ensuring that complaints of anti-social behaviour are dealt with and that the estates are maintained to a satisfactory condition.

 

The Housing Officer post is a vital role undertaking the tenancy management of a patch of dwellings.

 

The role ensures that tenants keep to their Tenancy Agreements, including payment of rent and recovery of rent arrears as well as ensuring that complaints of anti-social behaviour are dealt with and that the estates are maintained to a satisfactory condition.

 

The Housing Officer must possess detailed knowledge, experience and understanding of housing management, have experience in delivering a quality customer service, experience of visiting in their homes, interviewing and advising customers, experience of tenancy management and an ability to adapt to a changing environment and work under pressure with minimum supervision.
